Founder and Executive Director, Deanna Wilken developed a passion for eradicating human trafficking when she moved to Thailand in 2013. There, she witnessed blatant human rights abuses of men, women, and children and decided to learn more about the trafficking industry. Once leaving Southeast Asia, she pursued her Masters in International Relations at the University of Nottingham in England where she wrote her thesis on the effects of war and conflict on the human trafficking industry. Soon after returning to the United States, she volunteered at a local human trafficking organization as she sought to develop her own. Today, that dream has become

Project Trafficked.
